He is one of the forerunners in modern day consulting and his vision, subject matter knowledge, and extensive local and international experience of over 20 years, is widely recognized. He has successfully led the team to introduce and deliver a comprehensive suite of products in response to significant regulatory developments as well as market demands for strategic and operating model transformations. He consistently spearheads thought leadership initiatives, actively participates in economic and regulatory reform agenda, focuses on adoption of global best practices/ standards, and acts as an influencer and enabler to the stakeholders on key market developments, challenges and macroeconomic trends.
Faraz has a very broad range of experience with an aggregate exposure of more than 75 relevant projects of different sizes and complexities for a diversified mix of 30+ clients ranging from premier, mid-tier to emerging and foreign clients. He believes in partnering with clients and delivers true knowledge and skills transformation.
Besides Pakistan, Faraz has experience of working in different other jurisdictions such as UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, KSA, UAE and Bahrain. By profession, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Management Accountant. His areas of specialization also include Strategy Development including Digital Strategy, Business Process Reengineering, Operating Model Transformation, Organisational Restructuring, Customer Experience/ Service Quality, Enterprise Performance Management, Governance, Compliance, Functional Technology Consulting, Enterprise Risk Management, Basel II and Basel III etc. Faraz has conducted a number of orientation/ training sessions imparting conceptual as well as practical hands-on knowledge, and sharing experiences to help organizations in developing internal skill sets in diverse disciplines. He has represented at a number of local and regional industry and risk forums and has been a frequent speaker at top events organised by professional and regulatory bodies. He is also a part of various advisory committees constituted by such bodies and corporate advisory councils and provides expert feedback, input and advice on the emerging challenges and likely responses. As part of the Through Leadership and Branding Initiative, he has authored/ co-authored a number of related articles and led the teams to produce various publications on topical issues.
